Change Sparks*
Expert in Change Management, Change Leadership and Developing Organisational Change Capability.
Change Sparks is an initiative of Andy Schoonbroodt, change expert, keynote speaker, co-owner of Shift / Happens former CEO of The People Side of Change – an European Prosci Affiliate – and Enterprise Growth Director for Prosci in Europe.
With a strong foundation in the Prosci methodology, he spent many years helping organisations around the world with growing their change capabilities. He supported executive and senior leadership teams and people managers, change teams and project managers to develop the competencies needed to lead and manage change successfully.
At Shift / Happens & Change Sparks, we believe that organisations - and therefor all people in organisations - are in a continuous transition state. And change is not defined by a project scope. The better we understand and embrace that reality, the better we can enable our people and organisations to thrive. Today’s real challenge isn’t just managing individual change initiatives, it’s about building lasting responsiveness, resilience, and leadership strength across the organisation.
That’s why we focus on three areas, Lead, Grow, Manage:
-
Supporting active change initiatives with practical, hands-on guidance, applying proven methods like Prosci in ways that work for your context. Structure helps to manage change with intent.
-
Change Leadership to develop the leadership skills most effective for the liminal space of continuous change.
-
Building organisational change capability, empowering leaders and teams to develop the skills and mindset needed to lead future change with confidence. And to embed change management and leadership in skills, approaches and structure.
Shift / Happens & Change Sparks deliver impact through tailored consulting, mentoring, workshops, capability programs, and inspirational keynotes that spark the mindset shift needed for change success.
Let’s spark* the change success your organisation needs - gradually, then suddenly - one step at a time and ready to last.
Leadership for Liminality
A Roadmap for Building Change Capabilities
Structure and Intent for Your Change Initiative
While change efforts often focus on managing one change and adopting a future state for one change project, the real challenge is to thrive during continuous and multiple changes. People don't experience change based on a project scope, they experience it based on values and organisation culture, history, (personal) future ambitions, motivation and psychological safety, the extent to which they are enabled to change and how they perceive leadership support.
Thriving in a continuous transition state, requires specific leadership skills and actions. Conversations is the most powerful tool, the mindset we choose determines the effectiveness of the (fierce) conversations needed to succeed.
We help, through an inspiring keynote, a leadership program to work on change leadership skills or hands-on support in a change initiative to activate change leadership.
Developing Change Capability increases the change responsiveness of an organisaties and the change resilience of all people in an organisation. We support you on this journey with structure and an intentional approach, based on your current maturity, ambition and specific attributes your organisation wants to develop.
Attributes ao.: change leadership, skills and competencies, motivation / change resilience, structure / change approach, managing change portfolio, embedding in the organisation / setting up a CMO or center of excellence.
We change for a reason. Therefore you don't want to leave the desired outcome to chance. A structured change management approach helps to manage and lead the people side of change with intent. And since change is iterative by nature, we need to customize this approach to how people change and the context the change takes place in.
We are grounded in the Prosci Methodology and experienced in applying an approach that fits the nature of change.
Structure is not the same as a linear or one-size-fits-all approach, that almost never works. Structure means an approach with intent, where we make sure leading change becomes common practice. The context of change is never the project scope, but the continuous changing organisation and leadership, history, values and culture.
